Actress Kirstie Alley died of cancer yesterday at the age of 71 recently diagnosed. Her two children, True and Lillie Parker, announced the sad news via the interpreter’s Instagram account.
“To all our friends, far and wide, of the world… We are saddened to inform you that our wonderful spirited mother-mother has passed away. after a battle with cancer, recently discovered. She was surrounded by her close family and fought very hard, giving us the assurance of her inexhaustible joy of life and the adventures that lay ahead of her. As iconic as she was on screen, she made an even more incredible mother and grandmother. We are grateful to the incredible team of doctors and nurses at Moffitt Cancer Center for your care. The enthusiasm and passion for our mother’s life, her children, grandchildren and her many animals, not to mention her undying joy to create, were incomparable and inspired us to live life to the fullest, just as she did. We thank you for your love and prayers and ask that you respect our privacy at this difficult time.”

The actress confessed that Travolta had been the great love of her life, even confessing that “I would have run away and married him.”
Her brilliant professional career will allow us to always remember her. He took his first steps in the film world in the early 1980s, when he was part of the cast of ‘Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan’, although his participation in ‘Cheers’ marked a before and after in his career as an actress. The American won an Emmy for best leading actress in a comedy series thanks to ‘Cheers’ in 1991. He was not alone, the actress received a second Emmy for her role in the movie ‘A Very Special Sweetheart’.
Kirstey started dating a distant cousin in high school, unaware that he would later become her first husband. The actress was only 19 years old when she got married and divorced seven years later. In the early eighties, coinciding with the start of her work as an actress, she came into her life actor Parker Stevenson, her second husband, with whom she adopted her two children.
