The 53-year-old actor made a guest appearance on the late night show to discuss his role as Prince Charles in series five of The Crown and addressed the backlash he received from fans who complained he was “too handsome” for the role to interpret. .

When asked about fans’ comments about his casting as the current king, Dominic replied: “Well, thank you very much. I have received worse criticism.’
