In the fourth photo of the slideshow below that Gwyenth shared on Instagram during the sixth fair, on November 18, the Oscar-winning star and her mãe smiled for a photo while drinking safe ice cream, seemingly excited to spend some quality time together during marriage. They both looked age-defying as they posed with minimal makeup and glowing skin.

They matched in blue outfits, with Blythe wearing a bright blue dress and the Goop founder in a light blue two-piece ensemble that featured a crop top. The Primetime Emmy winner accessorized with silver rings, while her daughter opted for gold rings and a gold chain necklace. Blythe let her hair down for the graceful walk, while Gwyneth pulled it behind her ears into a low ponytail.

Gwyneth also shared a photo of herself and her husband of 51 years. Brad Falchuck at her cousin’s wedding. OR emma the actress covered up her crop top for the shot with a fuzzy black jacket. Brad, a director and producer, looked dapper in a navy suit. Other photos in the fun slideshow showed some of the good food Gwyenth enjoyed on her trip, including a hearty stew, biscuits and donuts topped with candied nuts.

The mother of two used the presentation as a teaser for her newsletter, promising fans there would be more details about the family’s Big Easy vacation. “I’ve really enjoyed starting our Thursday newsletters with little notes for you guys about my recent discoveries, travels, what I’m cooking, where I find inspiration, etc,” she wrote. “Last month I went to one of my favorite cities, New Orleans, for my cousin’s wedding. I’ll be sharing more about the trip in a future email… (I know I’m biased, but beyond my musings, the newsletters are full of amazing content and information from my team at goop).

Gwyneth introduced her mother, with whom she is very close, in a 2020 video for Goop, during which they discussed skincare, aging and generational beauty. Gwyneth’s eighteen-year-old daughter, Waste, joined to act as cameraman and interviewer for the video. As she’s noted many times, Gwyneth said she’s always liked a “minimal” skincare routine, revealing that both she and her mother have dry skin, so moisturizer is a must.

Discussing her feelings about aging, she said she felt prettier in her 30s, while her mom admitted she feels better in her 50s. “I think getting older is hard,” Gwyneth confessed. “It’s definitely a process, and I think when you see your face start to change, you don’t necessarily feel more beautiful on the outside.” She continued: “But the irony is that it’s that time in your life where you really like yourself and you love yourself. So you feel really beautiful inside.”
