“The spiders… Hunter… An ugly word, Hunter. It was difficult,” she told Yahoo on Friday.
“It’s so funny, everyone apologizes to me, and then what they say, you guys are so cute, they say, ‘But they’re harmless!’
“And I’m like, ‘No, there’s psychological, emotional damage done!’

Eva says the couple’s daughters Esmeralda Amada (8) and Amada Lee (6) were disappointed not to see native animals on Sydney’s streets.
“At first they really thought they were going to see kangaroos and koalas everywhere, and I was like, ‘They’re not on the street,'” she said.

“Really cute, but you hate to destroy her dreams. I wanted to ask Ryan to dress up as a kangaroo and jump around a bit. And we would too!’
“They realized we had to look somewhere [the animals]. But no, they love it. The beaches here are really something special”.
The American actress told Daily Mail Australia on Friday that despite being away from home, the couple do their best to treat the parents normally.

“I have to do normal things. I have a six-year-old and an eight-year-old, so you have to do what a mother does,” she said.
“You have to go to the park, you have to go to class, you have to do the usual things. So that was really great. Everyone is super chill and super cool about everything.”
Eva told Daily Mail Australia that she, Ryan and their children explored Sydney and fell in love with the northern beaches, which are about an hour from the city centre.

“My favorite thing is heavy because there are so many favorite things, but I would say the northern beaches,” she said.
While most tourists and visitors prefer the beaches in the eastern suburbs, Eva and Ryan have come to love the picturesque north coast.
“We just went up and explored some beaches. Pretty epic,” she said.
Eva and Ryan got together in September 2011 after working together on the film The Place Beyond The Pines.
