ICG Publicist Awards TV-nominated Pits Broadcast comedies against streaming dramas and reality

The ICG Publicists Guild today announced the TV nominees for the 60th annual ICG Publicists Awards. The teams behind it competed for the 2023 Maxwell Weinberg Award for Television Publicity Campaign Abbot Primary School (Warner Bros. Television/ABC), ghosts (CBS Studios/CBS), prey (20th Century Studios/Hulu), RuPaul’s Drag Race: All the stars (Paramount+/Paramount+) and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (CBS Studios/Paramount+).

The award honors active members working in television whose advertising and publicity performance in the previous calendar year is considered outstanding.

Tim Menke, co-chair of the ICG Publicists Awards with Sheryl Main, said: “This year’s nominees exemplify the outstanding efforts of publicists to attract meaningful, large audiences to a wide range of different television genres with competitive drag queens . an intergalactic alien predator. , a space franchise prequel and passionate downtown teachers of streamers and networks.

The Guild will announce the film nominees on January 11 and the annual ICG Publicists Awards luncheon ceremony will be held on Friday, March 10 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.

Last year, the International Cinematographers Guild honored the advertising teams behind it Spider-Man: No Way Home and Teddy Lasso.
