After the 65-year-old reality star, who has been a part of Bravo for 13 seasons, revealed she won’t be returning to the Inheritance version of the show, the host said “people saw this coming” and even called out some fans for the hypocrisy.
“It’s interesting, [it’s] one of those hilarious things on the internet, that is, whenever it was mentioned, it was “Please, no Ramona.” Go on Twitter, ‘Get rid of Ramona!’” Andy joked on the radio show episode of him. “But the moment Ramona announces she’s leaving, ‘Nooo, Ramona is a legend!’ It’s so funny. It’s so funny.
Andy went on to call Ramona’s appearance on the show “amazing television” but admitted he found her departure a little tentative. “I had a great conversation with her about it a few weeks ago and she was, I think she’s very optimistic about what’s going on in her life right now,” he continued. “I’ll let him go.”
Andy’s comments come after Ramona announced she would no longer be on the show last week. “I don’t want to do the show anymore,” she said. page six on Fridays. “Not for me right now.”
He also discussed whether or not he would appear in the new version of the series, in an interview in October. “I’ve been there for a long time. I mean, never say no, never say never,” she said on the “Reality with the King” podcast. “But I also feel like the ‘Legacy’ [show], how could it be really good? The people they will bring back are the people who don’t want to renovate anyway. And now? Will you call it ‘The Loser Show’, ‘Loser Legacy’?
Though Ramona says she has chosen to leave the series, sources say page six that Bravo didn’t offer him a spot on the revamped show, which brings back fan favorites from previous seasons. Insiders say the network reportedly asked him to return until recently, when he began criticizing the new spinoff in the press.
