George Clooney cut a pleasing figure on Monday as he hit the big screen in a new action comedy commercial for Nespresso.
The 61-year-old actor, who reportedly made £31m as an ambassador for the brand, reunited with Jean Dujardin for the ad – eight years after they first met on screen.
He was wearing blue-striped pajamas under a robe, slippers on his feet and sipping a cup of coffee.

George and Jean first appeared on screen together in 2014’s The Monuments Men, a film about the scale of Hitler’s devastation.
The dynamic duo is also joined by Jean’s on-screen girlfriend Camille Cottin, who makes her Nespresso debut.
Jean was wrapped up in navy pajamas while Camille dazzled in a white patterned dress as the trio sat on the couch with their coffee during the commercial shoot.
Launching in more than 20 European countries from November 15, the new campaign is an evolution of the original 2014 ad.

This time we see George offering to make coffee for Jean, only for him to quickly realize he only has one capsule left.
With impeccable comic timing, George mischievously pulls the rug from under Jean to retrieve the last pod before it flies out the window onto Camille’s balcony.
The duo must team up to retrieve the pod – as Jean lowers George in a cane chair on the side of the building to Camille’s apartment.

In a plot twist, the tide turns quickly when Camille has to retrieve her freshly brewed Nespresso coffee, which was brutally stolen by George.
Speaking about the new film, George Clooney said: “We had a wonderful time filming this sequel – being reunited with Jean is always a pleasure, but this time the brilliant Camille brings her touch of sophistication to the set brought, made for the perfect dynamic.
“With coffee flavor and sustainability at the heart of this ad, it was natural for me to be part of this campaign with my Nespresso family.”
