The royal person does not only lean on a sour berry.
No Queen Elizabeth II morning is complete without fresh strawberry jam toast. It turned out that, despite the myths about it, the red currant has unique properties.
Strawberries are known to be especially dangerous for allergy sufferers. However, the queen is not sick. The berry helps Prince Charles’ mother fight obesity.
According to nutritionist Yevgeny Arzamastsev, strawberries contain silicon and vitamin C, which are necessary for healthy nails, hair and skin, and also rich in potassium, useful for hypertensive patients.
“It is better to eat it in the morning. During the season, you can do it almost every day,” the nutritionist shared in an interview with the Gorodovoy portal.
