It turns out that the British writer’s absence from the event has no scandalous background. Rowling admitted she just didn’t want to attend a meeting devoted to the movie franchise.
“Then I thought it was going to be more about movies than books, and it was – that’s what the anniversary was dedicated to.
Nobody told me not to participate, on the contrary, I was asked, but I decided not to,” the novelist said in an interview with Virgin Radio UK.
