Valery Meladze’s attempt to rebuild a career in Russia failed miserably. The disgraced artist received a resounding slap in the face for his earlier statements.
The day before, Valery lit up Meladze at home: he performed in a night disco club. True, few knew about his concert – his name did not appear on the poster. It probably happened for a reason.
Music critic Sergei Sosedov suggested that the organizers not mention the name of the disgraced artist, so as not to cancel the performance. In addition, the expert said that it was time for Meladze to forget about the loud fame in Russia.
“I would shut them all down, the ones that blow something against Russia. Anyone would have cut off the oxygen! Everyone needs to be brought to their senses because all these Khamatovs and Meladze have become brazen. I wouldn’t let them come back here, or let them in, but so they’d kneel and bang their foreheads.
I would like to ask, “Valer, what are you, historian? A political scientist?” There is a Russian proverb: “Shut up, you pass for a smart man”. Well, why were they all against Russia? It’s none of their business! It’s their business to sing,” Sosedov burst out in an interview with the BLITZ.center portal.
