Rapper A$AP Rocky, aka Rakim Myers, has been formally charged with armed assault on former boyfriend Terell Efron. If the father of Rihanna’s child is proven guilty, the couple will be separated for a long time due to Myers’ jail term.
Last year, Rakim Myers reportedly took his friend Terell Efron to an abandoned Hollywood location to “show things.” During a heated argument, the rapper pulled out a gun and fired two shots, according to the Los Angeles prosecutor.
“Firing a gun in a public place is a serious crime that can have tragic consequences, not only for the victim, but also for innocent bystanders visiting Hollywood. My office has thoroughly examined the evidence in this case and determined that the addition of a special firearms charge is warranted,” TMZ said in the prosecutor’s opinion.
If proven guilty, Myers faces up to 9 years in prison.
