Warner Bros. has officially announced the release of the second part of Todd Phillips’ “Joker”. The wait isn’t that long, judging by the shooting start date.
The second part of Arthur Fleck’s misadventures is given the prefix Folie À Deux, which translates from French as “madness for two.” The sequel will be directed by Todd Phillips, who wrote and just completed the script. The second Joker will be released on October 4, 2024 and filming will begin in December. Lady Gaga (“A Star Is Born”) will join the cast and she will not appear in a cameo or small role, but as one of the main characters. The media is still cautious about who will play them.
“Details about her character are still a secret. Although we remember that the Joker is known for his abnormal relationship with Harley Quinn, a psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum, who falls in love with him and becomes an accomplice in his crimes,” the Hollywood Reporter notes, citing his own sources.
