Netflix analogue in Russia records sharp rise

A holy place is never empty.

The popular Russian online service breaks all attendance records. Even the creators didn’t expect this.

The Netflix streaming platform that left Russia quickly found a replacement. Movie fans have increased the demand for the domestic analogue of the Western project several times.

This year, the demand for a service to watch foreign movies and series for free called Zetflix has grown by 300-400%. The platform’s representative said that the application will now be promoted in RuStore and NashStore domestic stores, which will help improve performance.

“Now we are visited by about 150-180 thousand viewers a day, at the peak – 500 thousand,” a representative of the service told Kommersant.
