Mickey Rourke reveals painful bloody cut on forehead

Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke announced on Tuesday that he has a painful scar on his forehead that has left bleeding sores.

Born in New York and raised in Florida – the 69-year-old actor, who has 217,000 followers on Instagram, writes under his annoying growl: “Looks like my skateboarding days are over.”

It’s unclear if Mickey (née Phillip) was joking, as all he sees while riding is gym equipment and sometimes a motorcycle for work.

On March 8, Rourke, a retired boxer, is known to have had multiple MRI scans due to the number of concussions he’s had “over the years”.

“You have to make sure your head is not an omelet,” the Man of God actor wisely said.

I hope Mickey’s injury doesn’t get in the way of his final role as the disgruntled Serbian gangster Ruslan Petrovic in Murder At Hollow Creek, which is thankfully “at the peak of packaging production” in Mississippi.

Penelope Ann Miller, Paul Ben-Victor, Jason Patric, Casper Van Dien, Jason London, Jeremy London and Patrick Muldoon also star in David Lipper’s “black comedy” action thriller.

'You have to be sure'

‘You have to make sure you don’t get confused’: On March 8, Rourke, a retired boxer, admitted to having had multiple MRI scans due to the number of concussions he’s had over the years.

Rourke recently said that young directors are the reason why his acting career has been revived after being “blacklisted for 15 years in Hollywood.”

“Men are great. They don’t care what they hear. They judge me on my acting skills, not my old reputation,” the ’80s action star told Fox News on March 28.

“I have a love-hate relationship with acting. I love what I’m doing right now because I can give everything I’ve been taught. I have confidence

“I’ve had the misery that I went through, so I can use it in my performances. I can face any goddamn actor. And I know that bastard didn’t see what I went through, didn’t do it and didn’t live it.”

Is it round? I hope the Man of God actor injury doesn't stop his latest role as disgruntled Serbian gangster Ruslan Petrovic in Murder At Hollow Creek.

‘I got good advice’ [the late two-time Oscar nominee] Richard Harris years ago. He told me: “You can’t beat them all. There are so many”. I wish I had listened to Richard.
