Fun and with exceptional guests: the best posed in Marivent since 1975

The summer poses in the Marivent Palace is a tradition in the Spanish royal family. Located next to the cliff of Cala Major in Palma de Mallorca, there are many secrets that hide the walls, and the long list of illustrious people who have crossed the doors.

Marivent means “sea and wind”, a name that pays tribute to the palace’s surroundings. Built between 1923 and 1925has become the favorite place of Queen Sofia, who now enjoys the summer there with her three children and four of her grandchildren.

It was in 1973 when the Provincial Council of the Balearic Islands decided to cede the Marivent Palace to the then Princes of Spain, Don Juan Carlos and Doña Sofía, so that they could use it as summer residence. Since then, the endless list of family poses includes some images as shown below.
