Jess Impiazzi reveals her father Colin died of cancer

Jess Impiazzi has announced that her beloved father, Colin, died at the age of 70 after a long battle with lung cancer and other complications.

The 32-year-old reality TV star shared a series of sweet photos on Instagram following the sad death of her father Wednesday night.

He wrote: “Unfortunately, my father, Colin, died last night after a year of terminal lung cancer and other complications.

He said: ‘My father was a warrior and it took a very long time. I carry that fighting spirit into my future.

“My father was a fighter and it took so long. I will carry that fighting spirit into my future!

“I was able to hold your hand until the end and it meant the world to me. Rest in peace grandpa. I love you so much ❤️❤️.’

Jess, who is in a relationship with football player Jermaine Pennant, revealed last year that his father had been cared for for life when he turned 70.

He wrote at the time: ‘Challenging the odds! My father is in end-of-life care for lung cancer, vascular dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and heart aneurysm.

“But he turns 70 today and we’re going to celebrate that. Happy Birthday.”
