Studio 10 is grappling with speculation that it may soon face the axe.
And now presenter Tristan MacManus has addressed the rumors and said that the revised asterisk that the substitutions may have divided some viewers.
“The show needs a big change from what it is now to what it was before. Some people will like it, others will not,” he admitted.

“I just do my best. And if people like it, we hope to continue,” he continued.
“And if people don’t, then they’re going to leave the show. I will do my best with what comes next. But until then, I’m having fun.’
Studio 10 has undergone a major casting change in 2020 with the debut of fan favorites Kerri-Anne Kennerley and Joe Hildebrand.
Denise Drysdale and Natarsha Belling also left the same year, making way for a new roster.

Earlier this month, Canale 10 categorically denied rumors that Studio 10 is on the cutting board.
The morning show has been grappling with viewership numbers for years, as Australia has reported on fears that it will soon have to fight the ax on the network.
But a spokesperson out of 10 denied the speculations, telling Daily Mail Australia on 4 July that the program remains profitable and is not going anywhere.

Rumors surfaced in June when Channel 10 cut the first half hour of Studio 10 and replaced it with a new morning newsletter, 10 News Ahead: Breakfast.
But a 10-year-old insider told the newspaper, “Studio 10 is not in danger. It pays very well with all the advertising.’
The Australian also reported that longtime Studio 10 employee Sarah Harris may be looking for a new challenge on the network, pleasing Lisa Wilkinson at The Project while she’s on hiatus from Logies.
