The Grammy winner was forced to seek help.

LeAnn Rimes admitted that she had to go through something terrible to find out the causes of her depression – the singer went to a psychiatric hospital. There the doctors explained to her what she was suffering from.

In 1997, at the age of 15, the singer won a Grammy, making her the youngest artist to win a Best New Artist award. As psychiatrists explained to LeAnn Rimes, it was during this period that she could not cope with success and fame.

In addition to her musical career, LeAnn Rimes was also successful in films. In 2000, she played herself in the cult film Wild Coyote Bar. Rhimes is now 39 years old.
