Ricky Martin was the center of outrageous news. The fact is that the singer has an affair with one of his close relatives and is accused of domestic violence.
The person reportedly affected by a celebrity’s actions was his own cousin Adil Sanchez. As a result, Martin risks spending the next 50 years in prison. According to Sanchez, his uncle psychologically and sexually abused him for seven months.
The actor’s trial is scheduled for July 21. Meanwhile, a whole team of lawyers fight for Ricky’s freedom:
“We are confident that when the true facts in this case become known, our client Ricky Martin will be fully acquitted,” said the singer’s defenders.
They also recalled that Sanchez himself was recently accused of harassment, writes the Spanish newspaper Marca. A woman asked police to protect herself from Dennis Adil Sanchez, who would not let her pass and systematically threatened to “destroy her life.”
“Clearly Sanchez needs the help of a psychiatrist,” Ricky’s lawyers say.
