Sophie Monk reveals she once recorded songs with Snoop Dogg and then never heard from him again

Sophie Monk revealed that she and Snoop Dogg recorded a series of songs that were never released after the rapper ghosted her.

The 42-year-old singer-TV host told Nova: Fitzy and Wippa, 50-year-old Snoop allegedly did some rap lines in the footsteps of his real name, Calvin Broadus Jr.

The couple met when Sophie starred her girlfriend in an MTV commercial that never aired.

The California Gurls rapper said his tracks were never completed as he stopped responding to the production halfway through.

“The songs were so shitty because I never heard them later,” he said with a laugh.

Sophie added that when they worked together, Snoop was a “gentleman” and had a distinctive scent that she described as “maybe frankincense.”

Sophie rose to fame after winning the Popstars competitive singing series in 1999 and formed the Bardot girl group with other winners.

She later moved to Hollywood, where she played several movie roles and now hosts several reality shows, including Beauty and the Geek for Channel Nine.

Sophie told New Idea earlier this month that she and her husband, 41, Joshua Gross, want to have their first child.

He said his songs were never completed because the California Gurls rapper stopped responding to the production midway.

The couple fled to their home on the NSW central beaches in March, which surprised fans as they did not reveal their wedding date.

Sophie announced her newlyweds on Instagram on April 2nd and shared a series of photos from the couple’s special wedding day.

‘I HAVE A HUMAN! We ran away from home. I can’t believe I met him on the plane! This is madness. Best flight of my life!’ wrote she.

Sophie told New Idea earlier this month that she and her husband, 41, Joshua Gross, are looking for their first child.
