“Dangerous Relationships” and other romantic teen movies for a love marathon on Netflix

The Netflix catalog has endless romantic movies, but only a few of them are about youthful love stories where love is felt on the surface. Such is the case with ‘Dangerous relationships’and many others that feature different types of teenage relationships with a touch of dramatic comedy and more.

Between Netflix’s most popular romantic teen movies there are the trilogies “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” and “The Kissing Booth”; So, to leave out what most audiences already know, today we bring love stories between teenagers that have gone unnoticed on the streaming giant’s platform.

The first of these is “Dangerous Liaisons”, a remake of the classic French film of the same name in which love is in crisis. On Netflix there is also another remake of a romantic classic, as is the case with “El es Así”, which originally bears the name “Ella es Así”. Although it follows the main plot of the film from the 90s, it has a much more modern twist where social networks play a very important role.

The story of ‘El es Así’ tells the journey faced by the most popular girl in school after having a humiliating moment with her boyfriend and deciding to conquer another boy: the ugliest and most antisocial of the institution, once the ‘she accepted, she will try to change him and make him the king of the place … even if everything gets complicated when the real feelings start flowing between them.

Another of the movies about young love on netflix is ‘Anónima’, an original production from Mexico where, once again, social networks are the key to the romantic story it tells. In it, two teenagers attending the same high school virtually start their romance … but they never know who they are behind the screen.

During “Anonymous”, these two young lovers will develop two relationships: the virtual one, where they show their true feelings, and the real one, where the characters they know … hate each other. Their parallel life will take a turn when they find out who they have been talking to all this time.
