Husband Kourtney Kardashian explained how dangerous the situation was.
Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker was hospitalized on Tuesday. It was later revealed that he developed pancreatitis, an inflammation of the pancreas. The musician spoke in more detail about his condition.
It all started with an endoscopy on Monday, when Barker was still doing well. But after dinner, husband Kourtney Kardashian began excruciating pain.
“During an endoscopy, a very small polyp was removed in a very sensitive area,” he explained on social media. “Unfortunately, he damaged a critical pancreatic drain. This led to severe and life-threatening pancreatitis.”
Barker thanks the doctors for the treatment and assures he is feeling much better now. His wife Courtney, who was with him all along, thanked her subscribers for their support and shared her feelings.
“Oh, what a scary and emotional week it has been. Our health is everything, and we take it for granted until everything changes drastically,” admitted Kardashian.
