Chris Hemsworth’s new blockbuster Thor: Love and Thunder is packed with leading talent including Natalie Portman, Matt Damon and Melissa McCarthy.
But guess who was more like the movie’s premiere in Sydney? As a mix of D-list celebrities, they competed for attention on the red carpet.
While the red carpet was once the place reserved for great actors and directors, the Monday night screening saw bizarrely real celebrities like Hemsworth face off with obscure reality TV appearances.

Perhaps the most surprising aspect was that of former Married At First Sight star Nasser Sultan, who spent the last four years chasing superstars and failing.
In jaw-dropping scenes, Sultan was seen trying to have a conversation with Jessica Rowe, a respected journalist and former TV reporter, a famous TV personality.
Other reality stars once spotted on the red carpet include Big Brother roommates Aisha Jade and Chad Hurst, Dancing with the Stars from Christian Wilkins and Bachelor rejects Bella Varelis and Brittany Hockley.

Bella’s friend Will Stokoe, a photographer and minor influencer, was perfectly spotted walking the red carpet in a casual sweatpants and hat, steps away from Hollywood stars.
At its premiere on Monday, only a handful of real A-lists were spotted in a sea of low-level “celebrities”, including Thor director Taika Waititi.
Hemsworth joined in with his wife, Spanish model and actress Elsa Pataky, as well as their eight-year-old daughter. twin children, Tristan and Sasha.

Bella’s friend Will Stokoe (pictured), a junior photographer and influencer, was spotted walking perfectly on the red carpet a few feet away from Hollywood stars in a casual tracksuit and hat.
They were joined by Chris’ brother Luke Hemsworth, known for starring in the TV show Westworld, and Luke’s wife, Samantha, and their children.
Most of the movie’s stars did not attend the Sydney premiere, including lead actress Natalie Portman, who reprized her role as Jane Foster in Thor: Love and Thunder.
Tessa Thompson, Russell Crowe, Christian Bale, Matt Damon, Chris Pratt and Melissa McCarthy also did not show up.
Christian Wilkins (pictured) tried to steal the show by coming up with a deep black dress.

In the fourth Thor movie, the hammer-wielding superhero faces off against Bale’s villain Gorr the God Butcher.
The movie takes place after Avengers: Endgame, in which Thor (Hemsworth) resigns as King of Asgard and joins the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Enlist the help of Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and other friends to battle Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale).

Chris filmed his latest movie, the Netflix sci-fi drama Spiderhead, in Queensland.
Production company Wild State Productions brought Thor 3 and 4, Extraction 1 and 2, Spiderhead and Interceptor to Australia for filming.
Directed by Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder hits theaters in Australia and the UK on July 7 and in the United States on July 8.
