Presenter Rylan Clark confessed to installing cameras in her mother’s home to monitor her as her health deteriorates.

He also had an ostomy bag fitted after his last major surgery to help him fight Crohn’s disease.

Due to her mother’s health concerns, Rylan admitted, “I have cameras at her mother’s home so I can see her and make sure she’s okay.”

Speaking to The Mirror about what life is like for her now, Celebrity Gogglebox star Linda told The Mirror, “I have nurses who come every morning and night to give me a special meal.

“I have had Crohn’s disease since I was 30 and it hurt so much I was crying all the time. It was excruciating, I felt like I wanted to take a knife and open my stomach. “

He added: “I had three major bowel operations and with the last one they inserted an ostomy bag. Now I have no more pain, which is a relief, but I have to feed. Everything happens where I have almost no courage.

Linda also explained that since she only has 70cm of intestine left, she needs to make sure to empty her stoma immediately, even if she has a glass of water.

The mother described her life as if it were always the bathroom.

Crohn’s disease is a long-lasting condition that causes inflammation of the digestive system.

Speaking about her mother’s health on ITV’s Loose Women in 2019, Rylan told the panel that her mother has suffered from the condition “all her life.”

The star admitted: “My mother has suffered from severe Crohn’s disease all her life and I don’t think Crohn’s disease is talked about enough. I almost lost my mother last year, again, for the third time. “
