Glastonbury headliner Sir Paul McCartney sparked controversy on Saturday June 25 after using a clip of actor Johnny Depp during one of his songs.

The singer who now made history as the festival’s longest-serving headliner at 80 and during his performance fans were divided after he appeared to show solidarity with actor Johnny Depp.

He performed on the Pyramid stage over the weekend and sang some of his most popular songs.

During one of the songs, a video of Johnny Depp was played despite the recent controversy with the Amber Heard libel suit.

Paul performed his song My Valentine and the Pirates of the Caribbean, the actor used sign language with lyrics.

The clip was part of the music video released in 2012 and featured Black Swan star Natalie Portman.
