Kieran Hayler revealed he was “incredibly disappointed” after his ex-wife, Katie Price, escaped from prison after violating a restraining order.

Katie, 44, was all smiles when she received a community order after sending a series of abusive text messages to Kieran’s girlfriend Michelle Penticost.

A judge handed him a community order of 18 months, 170 hours of unpaid work and ordered him to pay £ 1,500 in expenses after pleading guilty.

Now Kieran has spoken just hours after Katie’s fate was sealed at Lewes Crown Court, where Michelle revealed in a witness statement that she feared Ms. Price would attack her.



Kieran Hayler and Michelle Penticost have expressed their disappointment that Katie Price avoided jail.

In a statement on behalf of Kieran and Michelle, the couple said, “We are incredibly disappointed with the outcome of today’s hearing.

“We believe that a prison sentence would have sent the right message to the public given the gravity of the crime committed by Ms. Price.”

Katie pleaded guilty to her restraining order after texting Kieran calling Michelle a “gutter sl * g”.



The couple thought a prison sentence would be better for Katie

He said, “Tell your goddamn shit girl not to start with me.

“He has a restraining order, so he shouldn’t try to bother me since he’s violating and I’m sure he doesn’t want people to know he was having an affair with you behind my back. This gutter.

In a statement read to the court, Michelle said: “The language used scared me. This worries me and I’m afraid it will attack me. I thought having a restraining order would make me feel safe.”



Katie pleaded guilty to violating her restraining order

During the hearing, which lasted about 30 minutes, Katie’s defense attorney, Nicholas Hamblin, explained that Katie’s guilty plea was an excuse, explaining that it was “an apology to Ms. Penticost”.

The restraining order against Katie was enforced for five years on June 3, 2019.

He banned Katie from contacting Michelle directly or indirectly and was also fined £ 415 following an “abuse discussion” following a schoolyard accident.

Judge Mooney told Katie, “These are the first twelve words that explain why you are here today.

“He was convicted of molesting Ms. Pent. It seems that he has respected this order for two and a half years ”.

He added: “In my opinion, this crime was committed out of anger.

“The words he used were very offensive and incendiary, so the offense cannot be considered minor.

“In my opinion, weighing the aggravating and mitigating circumstances, the appropriate sentence is a mid-level community order”.
