The creator of The Office and Netflix hit After Life gets into the spirit of things before Wimbledon, though maybe sunscreen could have helped.
Ricky Gervais left his social media followers a little worried after posting a photo on social media over the weekend he was sweating, but for good reason!
The comedian and creator of The Office recently admitted suffering from a lot of back pain.
But over the weekend, when temperatures hit the mid-20s, he decided to enjoy a warm-up in Wimbledon by playing tennis.

As expected, things got hot! In Ricky’s case, literally.
On his Twitter account, Ricky wrote to his 14.9 million followers: “I just played tennis. I probably shouldn’t have dressed in black. “

It’s fair to say that a little sunscreen probably would have helped too, since Ricky’s face was red from the effort.
His followers came in with answers, including former tennis star Andy Roddick, who replied, “And / or … You should have worn a hat.”
“Who needed sunscreen ?!” he added a second, with a third laughing: “Sunscreen is essential …”
Gervais has promised to perform on stage when he’s old and his body is crumbling and even gagged while sitting on a toilet.

The outspoken comedian says his back pain and physical condition are so bad that he will soon need help on stage.
But he has an ace up his sleeve to make his audience completely oblivious to being in the swamp.
He said: “I like to stand up, but standing up is the worst because I have back problems.
