As the curtain closes for the TV Week 2022 Logie Awards, some of Australia’s biggest names came out of The Star casino in the early morning, looking a little worse for wear.
The drunken stars had a lot to celebrate, as TV night finally returned to the live stage after a two-year hiatus due to Covid-19.

Lego Masters host Hamish won the Golden Logie for Most Popular Personality on Australian Television during Gold Coast Nights Night.
In her acceptance speech just before midnight on Sunday, the Nine Network star acknowledged that the industry has been going through a tough time lately.
“We are so grateful to be able to do what we do…we are so lucky to keep working,” he said.
Blake took the stage to pick up the three Logies, and Lego Masters won its first award for most outstanding entertainment or comedy show.
“It’s really fun to create something about creativity and fun,” said Blake, thanking co-host Ryan McNaught and the Lego Masters crew.
“It’s like there are thousands of little pieces that come together to create the spectacle.”
Hamish also took Logie home for the most popular presenter named after TV superstar Bert Newton and presented by Newton’s wife, Patti.
ABC’s The Newsreader took home the two Logies, winning the biggest drama series, and star Anna Torv taking home the most notable actress.
Another of the drama films, Fires, won the miniseries category and won the Richard Roxburgh Best Actor award.
It was also a big night for Seven Network, when sports host Bruce McAvaney was inducted into the TV Week Hall of Fame with a standing ovation.
A few days after ABC’s Tony Armstrong’s on-screen reaction to the Socceroos’ arrival at the World Cup, Graham Kennedy won the Most Popular New Talent Award.
