Acrobatic actor Bam Margera “escaped” from a Florida rehabilitation center earlier this week, but was reportedly found in a hotel and picked up by police and a crisis response team.
Jackass star Bam Margera was reportedly escorted to the Florida rehab center from which he “escaped” earlier this week.
The 43-year-old was found in a Delray Beach hotel and picked up by police and a crisis response team on Wednesday, the report reported. TMZ.
The skateboarder would return voluntarily.
The director of the rehabilitation center said Bam is there by court order, which is why the police are looking for him.
A Delray Beach police report says he went missing on Monday. Insiders told TMZ that Bam is unlikely to have relapsed.
According to the outlet, the specialist told the director of the center that he was dissatisfied with the facilities and would go into rehabilitation elsewhere, before leaving in a black vehicle.
Bam would not have been happy not to receive the special celebrity treatment he had received at other establishments.
In May, she completed a one-year inpatient rehabilitation program.
Though he left the facility, Bam was active on his social media, sharing a photo on his Instagram Story on Tuesday.
The shot, taken several years ago, saw him standing next to his wife Nicole and Machine Gun Kelly.
Machine Gun Kelly casually performed in Florida on Tuesday night.
Bam also shared a photo along with his new sponsor Alcoholics Anonymous, credited as Dominick.
The couple could be seen hugging and banging their fists. He captioned the post: “Dominickk, MMA fighter, chiropractor and sober for 10 years is my new AA sponsor.”
Bam has a long history of substance abuse problems.
He had to be hospitalized in 2019 to treat edema apparently caused by excessive alcohol consumption.
Bam recently claimed he was fired from Jackass 4 for failing to meet the conditions relating to his addiction issues, which were set by the producers.
