For years, fans of Twilight have discussed the ridiculous wig of Jasper Hale in the second film of the franchise. Now everything fell into place: actor Jackson Ratbone finally explained why his hairstyle looked so strange and here it was not without M. Knight Shyamalan.
In an interview for Msmojo, Ratbone said:
“When we filmed The Twilight: New Moon, I worked in parallel with Shyamalan in the” Lighter of the Elements. “For the role of Sokka I had a very specific hairstyle. That’s why I had to wear a wig in the second film” Twilight “. They tried to fit it under my real hair, but it turned out to be gentle, not bad.”
In the first film, the actor wore his own hair, which the team easily lit. But with his curly and naughty hair, according to Ratbown himself, the stylists did not fully wear it. In the second film, the wig looked as ridiculous as possible – and the audience immediately noticed. Ratbone remembers himself:
“I was very young then and didn’t want to insult anyone. I couldn’t immediately say that the wig was terrible. He just smiled and agreed:” Yes, great. “And he played.”
In the third part, according to him, the wig was a little better, but still far from the ideal. But in the fourth and fifth part of the wig they generally refused – there again Ratboun “are” hair.
The wigs in “Twilight” were not only enough by Jasper – the fans still remember the “legendary” wig of Bella in the “Eclipse”. But there is no explanation, except for the fault of the customers, no longer.
