The series “And just like that” ends on August 14.
There will be no continuation – this was confirmed by the makers of the show two weeks before the release of the last series. The decision turned out to be unexpected to the public (albeit logically completely justified – few hate a few) and caused a violent discussion.
Showranner Michael Patrick King explained that the closure “exactly so” is not the order of the channel, but the personal decision of the team:
“While I wrote the last series of the third season, it became clear – this can be a great time to stop.”
He clarified that the news was kept secret, so that the word “final” would not affect the perception of the season. Instead of the planned ten episodes, twelve were shot.
Digices and Facts:
- The premiere of the first season is December 2021
- A total of 3 seasons were removed
- The last series – August 14, 2025
- Only 429,000 people watched the premiere of 3 seasons
The reasons for the closure are not officially commented, but the series has long been criticized. Fans of the original “Sex in the Big City” are unhappy with a sharp change in style and controversial plot turns. Negative reviews all three seasons accompanied: “And just as” accused of the “agenda”, because of the makers, the logic of the plot and the characters’ signs are literally spitting.

Jonathan Kake, who played a new character in the third season, responded jokes to the closure of the series as follows:
“Wait … I just spent the night with Carrie – and the show ended immediately?”
In another message he turned to his colleagues:
“You have given the world so much joy for these almost thirty years. Thank you for entering me in this story, albeit for a minute.”
