Hulu finally revealed plans for the sixth season of the animation series “The Finding Side of the Earth”.
The date of the premiere has not yet been announced, but it is known that the new series will be released in the fall. Admittedly, there is a nuance: it will be the last season. Then the series will officially end.
For fans it is unlikely that this news will be unexpected – rumors about the completion have long been underway, but now this is being confirmed. The sixth season will at the same time become a farewell to a project that was able to grow a stable audience in five years.
Hulu describes the final as this:
“The spectators are waiting for the usual chaos of a crazy alien family, who will continue to fall into absurd changes. And at the same time the epic drama for miniature people who are sharpened in the wall will end. The” reverse side of the earth “prepares for farewell, but at the same time promises the surprises at every step.”

The series was invented by Mike McMahan (Star Way: Lower Decks) and Justin Royland, co -author of Rick and Morty. Royland itself was expelled from the project in 2023 after accusations of domestic violence – the case was later closed, but he did not return to the series. According to a part of the audience, the show lost part of the identity after the departure.
The “reverse side of the earth” started in 2020 and soon became a noticeable phenomenon in adult animation series. The story of four alien beings who were forced to settle on earth after the death of their native country, took longer than many expected – especially taking into account all the backstage scandals and disruptions.
The audience’s reaction to the news was expected to be contradictory. One of the fans noticed:
“I understand why, but to be honest, the series can quietly reach another three or four season. The audience is still growing.”
Another user reacted calmer:
“People, relaxing. Six seasons are already a good result. Of course I would like the show to take place forever, but given the fact that they are generally given to end up consciously – this is a rarity.”
