The “Killerbot” series about the robot Introvert has been officially expanded for season 2

The last episode was released on July 11, but the decision about the continuation was taken in advance. Apparently the spectators really came in through the robot Mizanthropus, who just wants to be left alone, but in the end it is forced to save people.

The most important role is played by Alexander Skarsgard. He is also mentioned as an executive producer of the project. The script is based on the cycle of bestsellers from Marta Wells, who combine science fiction, irony and social satire.

The authors of the show thanked the audience for the warm welcome and emphasized individually that they were happy to return to the Wells -Universum, together with the actor, CBS Studio and Apple Streaming.

The plot “Killerbot” is not just another futuristic action film. In the center of history:

• AI-Securiti, who has its own control system Hackt and has received free will
• The main character who cannot stand the emotions of people, but at the same time is forced to protect them
• Internal conflict: Killerbot wants it to be left alone, but instead constantly falls into dangerous situations
• The ironic leit motif is the hero’s desire to escape from humanity and to view calm soap operas (which of course nobody will give)

The extension of the series is a rare case when Apple TV+ does not relate to a scale or star names, but on a strange but genuinely invented story. The second season is already under development, the release dates of new episodes have not yet been announced.
