Scientists tried again to measure what, it seems, cannot be counted – public aversion.
In March 2025, researcher Daniel Parris of the project Status Significant I decided to find out which of the actors cannot literally not stand it. Not at the level of personal sympathies, but due to specific figures. As a result, the most hated movie star was a man who was simply common in Russia – Adam Sandler, a symbol of video cassette comedies in the late nineties.
The technology looked like this: not only failed films of actors were taken into account, namely those who collected a large number single -star Reviews – that is, they received massive rejection and remained in memory at the same time. Nonable low -budget tires and clearly forgotten did not fall in the monster. Only loud releases that watched millions – and millions didn’t like it.
Strangely enough, there were only two militants actors in the top ten leaders. This:

- Sylvester Stallone – For “Rocky 5” and “Wait! Whether my mother will shoot”
But the rest is almost continuous comedians: Rob Schneider, Tom Arnold, Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence. But the first place was taken by Sandler. According to the study, it was he who appeared more often than others in films, where more than 20% of the audience brought the lowest possible assessment. In this anti -record there were five:
- “Absolute Six”
- “Classmates 2”
- “Nikki, the younger devil”
- “Such different twins”
- “All overboard”
And everything would be nothing, but a logical question arises: if Sandler is said to have so much hatred, why he has been receiving stable enormous contracts from Netflix for ten years, movies with friends continues to photograph, and when he wants to, it quietly gives a powerful dramatic role as “unhuzi diamonds” or “love that knocks down”?
The Paradox is that Sandler is one of the most contradictory actors in Hollywood: at the same time he is reprimanded by the “kindergarten” and worshiped for Charisma. He regularly appears on the prizes, jokes with a stupid voice, collects full rooms and still stays in the list of the most recognizable comic stars. So yes, he is the most hated. But if this is true, the world seems to keep those who he very “hates”.
