A horrified source at the scene “thought he was dead” after hearing a sickening “crack” and noticing the great height from which the stranger had fallen.

Speaking to the Daily Record, the witness explained the ordeal as they desperately tried to protect their children from the traumatic accident, which happened in the front row.
They explained to the publication: “We were directly in front of the stage. We were in row F, on the second level, below the Club Deck, a little to the right.
“He just flew from the Club Deck upstairs and landed in the row directly in front of us, there were people around.

The source continued: “People were throwing water and then everyone was screaming and jumping back. I heard the thud and my daughter told me what happened. Immediately someone started CPR on her.
“He landed in the row in front of us, he was trying to protect the children, I thought he was dead.”
According to the eyewitness, who had rushed to seek emergency help from those on the scene, six security members arrived directly at the scene and started human CPR.

As the source sought help, others gathered to make sure the children in the crowd were huddled together and protected from seeing the doctors caring for the man.
A spokesman for the Scottish police gave an update on the incident, explaining: “Officers learned of a man who fell from a club cover at a location in Edmiston Drive, Glasgow, around 10:15 pm on Saturday 11 June 2022. .
“There were no suspicious circumstances and the medical staff treated the man.”
