While the audience claims whether someone needs Harry Potter remake in the series format, and HBO Max is quietly launching shooting, the life of three young actors who played Harry, Ron and Hermione, changes forever.
World Glory, fans, interviews, yellow press – and all this even before the release of the first series. But the father of Emma Watson, who once made the same story a star, has something to say about this.
Chris Watson did not act as a proud parent on the air of Times Radio, but as a person who knows what this can change – and gave advice to the parents of new heroes of the franchise:
“As a parent you have to be scared. It can be very difficult – both for the child and for the whole family.”

The new artists are called Dominic McLaFlin, Arabella Stanton and Alaster Stoin and, just like their predecessors in the early 2000s, they were absolutely unknown to the project. After a year, their faces on posters, T-shirts, fan doctor and, most likely, will be in every news head. In an interview with The Independent, Chris Watson admitted that it is a separate skill to deal with this attention, and not all parents have it.
It is interesting that at Emma Watson he did not try to turn all this into the family into a cult: according to his father he has still not really watched a single film and no events of Harry Potter at all.
“This was not something so important in our house and probably it is why we were able to keep it on earth with both feet.”
