Hollywood, out of habit, relies on nostalgia, spectacular special effects and star composition, but this time the machine stuck to get billions even before the start. Two actors of the first size refused to participate in the project – and like now it is not in vain.

Glen Powell, who is now actively visited in Hollywood by the new generation stars, said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he was reading the script, proposals, but finally decided to refuse. The reason is quite polite, but with a characteristic subtext:

“This is one of my favorite franchises. I dreamed of acting in the” Jurassic Park “from childhood. But when I read the script, I realized that my presence will not help the film. And it is not that the script is bad. The film makes spectators happy.”

Even earlier, Jennifer Lawrence refused the most important role in the film. According to Puck News, the studio offered her the most important role in the “revival” instead of Scarlett Johansson, but the actress experienced the proposal without going into details.

And, based on the first answer of critics, both actors did not lose. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film is 54% approval at the time of publication, and this is with nearly a hundred reviews. Critics are unanimous: the franchise was completely exhausted and even dinosaurs no longer save.
