The continuation of the horror hit of the Killer Doll was only released, and, as a franchise, it was not without the scene after the credits. Admittedly, unlike Marvel films, it is unlikely that something is waiting for you that matters for the future of the universe.

In “M3GAN 2.0” the scene already appears during the first credits. This is a short fragment – in fact cut old and new moments with Megan, completed by a new dance deployment.
Yes, she dances again. Yes, it looks crypt again. But from the point of view of the plot there is an absolute useless scene, there is no sense to have it until the end of the credits. The film ends without teasers and touched the future sequel, and the scene does not expand the world of history.
It is still unknown whether the studio is planting the third part. But from the point of view of “M3GAN 2.0”, the last scene itself works as an internal joke than a teaser of something new. No hints of the third part, no replica that would promote the story ahead and a fans service. Those who decide to leave the hall immediately will miss nothing.
The third part of Megan is now in doubt: it is still unknown how good money the sequel will earn at the cash register, because the first reaction of critics is very modest, if not – negative.
The Daily Beast called the film “Rining Bad” and “The most confusing film release of 2025.” Digital Spy noted that the transformation of a Megan from a maniac into a stabbing doll with a repertoire of replicas in the spirit of Marvel is more harmful to the film then helps. Awards Watch believes that the continuation is desperate to like everyone at the same time and ultimately loses the clarity that the first part of the cult has made.
