Action, a wedding, mercenaries and a secret agent in one film – sounds like a waste and critics totally agree.
The new film by Simon West “Spy Wedding” received humiliation of 10% at Rotten Tomatoes. Some reviewers are not shy at all and call him ‘the worst film of the year’.
If the name Simon West seems known, this is the same director of the Air Prison with Nicholas Cage and “Untention 2”. He knows how to shoot a cheerful face. But then I decided to make a comedy. And in vain. According to Andrew Parker from the gate, the film is “almost the perfect zero”, in which there is no humor, no tension or at least an understandable production.
In the middle of the plot, Rebel Wilson is like a special agent Sam. She comes to her friend’s wedding (Anna Camp), where armed mercenaries suddenly appear. Sam is taken to save all guests and to disturb more sinister plans.
Critics carry the film to Pluis: “Banal Scenario”, “Wooden Dialogues”, “No Funny Moments.” Collider described bride hard as “a slow, absolutely not funny wedding comedy, which you can’t even look at your worst enemy.” And the Hollywood reporter called the film “105 minutes of wasted time”.
Among the actors are Anna Klams, Stephen Dorff, Justin Hartley. But even a good cabinets does not save: according to Fandomwire, the film is “a waste of time and talent”, and director is completely devoid of energy.
You can also not wait for decent money costs: the “espionage wedding” starts this weekend at the cash register, in the competitors of IT “28 years later”, the new Pixar cartoon Elio and continues to earn millions “How to Tam the Dragon”.
