Gemma Owen’s former rugby star Jacques O’Neill has been confirmed as the latest star to enter the Love Island mansion.
Friday night’s episode (June 10) saw the islanders rocked by the first reunion of the series, but more chaos looms when it ends with Gemma discovering that her ex is the latest bombshell to enter the broadcast of ITV2.
The shocked teen said, “OMG, this is my ex boyfriend” as the show teased Sunday’s shocking episode, sure to reveal some facts about Gemma’s ex-love.
Host Iain Stirling was overheard saying “Sunday night, say hello to the new one,” before Gemma informed the girls that he was her ex-boyfriend.
Another islander is heard saying “shit” while Tasha looked stunned by the arrival.

Gemma’s ex-boyfriend Jacques O’Neill works as a professional rugby player for the Castleford Tigers and comes from the heart of Leeds.
His family confirmed they would join Love Island when they shared a topless snapshot of the meatloaf on social media.
Its caption read: “!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!! !!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!! !!!!!! !!! !!!
The 23-year-old started playing for the Castleford Tigers as a teenager and has been hailed as one of rugby’s top prospects.
He previously played for the Knights of England with 29 appearances for the Tigers.
A string of injuries culminating in hamstring surgery has caused him to miss out on about 12 months of action, but now that will be sidelined as he seeks love on the show.
A statement released by the Tigers reads: “Castleford Tigers can confirm today that the club has agreed to release Jacques O’Neill from his contract to allow him to pursue another opportunity.”
Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on adding Gemma’s ex to the show.

Gemma had just been paired with Luca Bish in the opening of the series, which gave all the power back to the guys who had to choose which women to partner with.
The reconciliation left Paige Thorne and Afia Tonkmor single, but masters student Liam Llewellyn left the mansion later that day.
This meant that there was no longer anyone to mate with for the girls, saving them from being kicked off the island.
Love Island continues Monday to Friday from 9pm on ITV2 or ITV Hub.
