TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh shared a photo of her “first meal” with her newborn baby online with fans.
The mother of two who welcomed her second child with partner Ryan Thomas last month made fans laugh with her photo of herself breastfeeding in her hospital bed enjoying a slice of pizza.
Cradling her baby in one hand, a pizza box firmly in her lap, Lucy, 30, told fans that “tea and toast” weren’t enough to satisfy her cravings.
Next to the photo, he wrote: “Our first meal together 10 days ago !!
“Nothing beats the first meal after birth and the tea and toast wouldn’t cut it.”
Running to the comments section, Lucy’s followers shared their thoughts on her intimate snapshot.
One fan wrote: “OMG, I LOVE this. What a perfect first meal after giving birth! I wish I’d thought about it. “
Another added: “Absolutely loving here”.
A third said, “Haha, I had a Macdonald, that’s all I wanted.”
Meanwhile, a fourth fan shared her post-baby experience, writing, “Christmas dinner since my daughter was born on Boxing Day, so my family brought in the leftovers from Christmas dinner. It was amazing. “
Lucy announced the arrival of her baby daughter on May 31 and continued to update her 1.7 million followers on Instagram.
In addition to being the mother of her newborn son, Lucy is Roman’s mother and the stepmother of Ryan’s 13-year-old daughter Scarlett, who she shares with her ex-girlfriend Tina O’Brien.
Speaking about motherhood recently, Lucy admitted that she often felt like she was too busy.
He explained: “It feels like a bit of a military operation at times, but Ryan and I only work as a team.
“Breastfeeding, diaper, etc, girl and Ryan get changed, bathe, breastfeed and play with Roman.”
Despite their busy schedules, Lucy and former Corrie Ryan star enjoyed a night out before Ryan’s 38th birthday, which falls on June 10.
The happy couple dined at the chic Bob Bob Ricard French restaurant in London and gave fans a taste of the delicious food they ate.
