More and more photos from the show are being published on the web. The highly anticipated and most expensive series in history opens on September 2, 2022 in Amazon Prime Video online cinema.
Film critic, presenter of the program “Kino began” on “Moskva.FM” Roman Grigoriev shared his expectations of the series in an interview with the PopCornNews portal, and also answered the question of whether the new project will be more successful than the three films.
The expert is confident that the new series will have good reviews, as it will be shown in the fall, when everyone returns from vacation, and the Tolkien story will be popular with those who have watched old films.
“You cannot compare series and films. It’s like comparing white and salt. The series has its own audience, most likely it will be those who have watched previous films. They are already adults, they can have children, but there are many of them,” said Roman Grigoriev.
