Dark Hours will Deserve as they move The Rock Show with Johnnie Walker from Saturday night (20:00 – 21:00) to the more traditional late-night rock show on Friday night (23:00 – midnight) from Friday, July 15th.

With Gary Davies, the sounds of the 80s will span from today’s Friday night (20:00 – 22:00) to the heart of Saturday night’s weekend (8:00 – 22:00).

With Fearne Cotton, the sounds of the ’90s also perform on the move from Friday night (10pm – midnight) and during Saturday night party hours (10pm – midnight).

Meanwhile, Angela Griffin will host Radio 2 Unwinds (10pm – midnight), a Sunday night program to take listeners “on a stimulating journey of music across genres and decades, helping them relax and unwind.”

Angela said: “I am very excited about my BBC Radio 2 show. I loved presenting my drama last year as I am already a huge fan of the channel, so I am proud to receive my first real weekly schedule.

“For the week ahead I bring two hours of soothing tunes composed by myself and the audience to help relax and unwind.”

In the “Axed” category, shows with Craig Ana Matronic’s Dance Devotion (Sunday morning, midnight – 2am) and Dr. Rangan Chatterjee has a show (Sunday 10pm – midnight).

Ana said: “It has been a pleasure and a privilege to be a part of the Radio 2 cast for the past five years.

“Representing dance music culture, history and community is an honor I will continue to work for. I wish all my listeners the best and hope to see you on a dance floor soon! ‘
