An insider believes that the movie world needs the appearance of a popular artist.
A former Disney employee spoke about Johnny Depp’s appearance in Pirates of the Caribbean.
The actor previously denied returning to the popular franchise. However, the ex-Disney employee is sure that Depp, who won the scandalous lawsuit against Amber Heard, may change his mind in the near future.
In the wake of the success of Jerry Bruckheimer’s Top Gun: Maverick, an insider says it will be necessary to bring popular artists back to large-scale franchises. At the same time, the studio itself has not yet responded to the statement of the former employee.
“I am absolutely certain that, after the verdict has been handed down, Pirates will be ready for a reboot starring Johnny. Captain Jack is back on board. The box office potential is huge, especially for a much-loved character rooted in Disney culture,” an insider told People.
