The eighth series of Love Island has officially begun and all viewers are talking about the same islander, Gemma.

The daughter of football legend Michael Owen, the 19-year-old has been called “rude” and many have called her to resign after the first episode.

Gemma was chosen by the public to collaborate with graduate student Liam Llewellyn, although she seemed displeased with her new partner.

When they were talking one-on-one, the conversation between Gemma and Liam seemed awkward as they tried to get to know each other.

After the 19-year-old admitted she knew what strength and conditioning were, which Liam studies, she asked him to explain what it was.

But Gemma went wild when he told her not to “fuck” and quickly got the conversation going.

Liam jokingly asked her to explain what she thought it was, but she replied by saying, “I’m not going to play this stupid game.”

People quickly caught his rude comments and noticed that he seemed desperate to mention who his famous father was during the conversation.

However, it was after his rough rejection of Liam in the opening of the series that he annoyed viewers back home.

During a game where the islanders chose challenges from a box, Gemma was asked to kiss the person she loved most.

Although she is in a relationship with Liam, she went straight to Italian bombshell Davide, who is eight years her senior.

Liam watched uncomfortably as the meeting unfolded in front of him after Gemma rejected him.

When it was her turn to take on a challenge, she was asked to choose someone to do a cheeky lap dance for her, although Gemma made it clear that she didn’t want him to choose her, which led to him choosing Paige.

People were quick to call Gemma for her stern refusal and many demanded that she be the first to be kicked out.

One viewer said, “Should we all agree to remove Gemma as soon as possible?”

While another person added, “Can we all agree to remove Gemma first please and thank you that’s so rude?”

Someone else commented: “Can we refuse Gemma? She thinks she has some kind of privilege thanks to her father of hers that nobody knows. “

A fourth viewer said: “Is it time for a public vote? We need Gemma out of the show immediately.
