“The Perfect Couple” Fans, General Assembly: Nicole Kidman Has Two More Similar (and Very Successful) Projects

Crime drama ‘The Perfect Couple’ managed to captivate Netflix audiences in just a few days, breaking into all the top streaming charts possible – and while the show didn’t receive rave reviews from critics and was even given the unflattering nickname of a sad parody of ‘White Lotus’, the series’ immense popularity still speaks for itself.

With The Perfect Match definitely not getting a sequel, fans are likely hungry for more mystery drama – and Perfect Match co-star Nicole Kidman has a few such projects in mind.

By the way, this is not the first time that the actress, along with her heroines, finds herself at the center of a mysterious crime – one of the most famous examples is perhaps the dramatic show “Big Little Lies”, in which Kidman also played one of the main roles. The plot revolves around several families living in a small Californian town where a murder takes place. In order to understand who is really involved in the crime, the viewer will have to go back in time and follow all the events that led to the tragedy.

Another project that may interest fans of The Perfect Couple and Nicole Kidman in particular will probably be the detective thriller Nine Complete Strangers. Like Big Little Lies, the series is based on the novel by Liane Moriarty, only this time all the action takes place in an elite boarding house, where nine completely different people come for a two-week vacation. Here, Kidman played the director of the boarding house, Masha, who promises the guests healing of soul and body, but instead each of them will be reminded of the dark past that they all so much want to forget.
