Ready for a horror sprint?
Miniseries are a real discovery for those who value their time and are simply not ready to start a series with a dozen seasons. This is especially true for horror films – after all, what series can scare the viewer for more than three seasons without interruption?
Luckily, our selection includes 10 series that haven’t even had three seasons yet. These are horror movies that only need a short time to give you nightmares – or that will give you an evening of entertainment if you’re an old horror veteran who doesn’t really care about anything.

In 2023, the miniseries “The Fall of the House of Usher” became a real sensation in the horror genre. Let’s start with the fact that the series has already firmly established itself in the top 250 on Kinopoisk with a rating of 7.5. It is also admired on Rotten Tomatoes, with a rating of 90% from critics and an 81% rating from the audience.
The series tells the story of how the elderly owner of a pharmaceutical company, Roderick Usher, gradually loses all six of his children. After Asher buries the last three, he makes an appointment with lawyer Auguste Dupin, who has long dreamed of putting him in prison, and promises to confess everything. But two weeks ago, after Dupin declared that he had dirt on Asher, Roderick called a family council to find an informant!
This was the last time he saw all his children alive. Then begins a horror phantasmagoria in the style of Edgar Allan Poe – well, of course, because it was based on his eponymous story on which the Netflix series was based. The film adaptation turned out to be really successful – which, as we know, is very rare these days.
