Comedy hit Ted Lasso is coming to an end after its third season in 2023. And it appears Apple TV+ executives have decided to reconsider their decision to end the series.
The fact is that the streaming service couldn’t engage its subscribers with a new comedy show, so Jason Sudeikis’ character had to be brought out of retirement.
According to the latest rumors, Sudeikis, Brett Goldstein, Hannah Waddingham and Brendan Hunt have already signed contracts to star in the upcoming fourth season of Ted Lasso.

While fans aren’t entirely sure how the show can move forward beyond the already-announced ending, which saw Ted Lasso leave Richmond FC and return to the United States, most have faith in showrunner Bill Lawrence.
Furthermore, the decision to bring “Ted Lasso” back to the screens is supported by the actors themselves. In a recent interview, comedian Lloyd Griffith, best known for his role as a journalist in the Apple TV+ series, said that he hopes to continue playing the lead role in Ted Lasso for at least a few more seasons.
“I’m just a small part in this huge machine, but working with the other actors has been absolutely amazing… I’m praying for a fourth, fifth, sixth season because it’s just a dream job.” said Griffith.
Of course, Apple TV+ execs haven’t even officially confirmed the release of season four yet, so there’s no point in hoping for seasons five and six.
Russian users of Kinopoisk recognized “Ted Lasso” as the 12th best TV series in history, giving it a rating of 8.5 points.
