Now you know exactly what to do on Halloween night.
Although there’s still more than a month to go until the spookiest holiday of the year, you should still prepare for it in advance — and most Halloween series you can think of will help you do so. As some sources recently reported, the long-running cult mystical show “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” will be completely free to watch starting September 27 — after which the series will appear on the Tubi platform, a free streaming service.
Along with ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer,’ all seasons of the western ‘Hell on Wheels’ and the sitcom ‘Sanford and Son’ will also be released on streaming, but with Halloween approaching, fans will likely feel nostalgic and arrange a re-watch of their favorite show, significantly increasing Tubi’s viewing count.
Based on the 1992 film of the same name, the series starring Sarah Michelle Gellar became an instant worldwide hit and ended after season 7 in 2003. The plot of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” revolves around high school student Buffy Summers, who moves from Los Angeles to the small town of Sunnydale.
No one there knows yet that Buffy is not a simple schoolgirl, but the Chosen One, who must fight demons, vampires and the forces of evil in general every day. This was to some extent the reason for the heroine’s move to Sunnydale after she burned down a gym full of vampires at her first school. Now, in a new place, Buffy meets her new Watcher, school librarian Rupert Giles, who will later become her mentor and help her become a true vampire slayer.
