The film Too, winner of the Oscar, Godzilla less oneby the director Takashi Yamazaki made the public explode and redefined what to Godzilla The film could be. Now, Yamazaki is giving fans something new, and is provided with a strong dose of mecagodzilla.
The first video of Yamazaki’s socket on the robotic counterpart of the king of monsters emerged, and it is not from a film. Is part of Godzilla The Ride: Giant Monsters Ultimate BattleA new experience in the Seibuen amusement park in Japan. While this race is not the Godzilla less one Sequel, is very part of Yamazaki’s evolving vision for the franchise.
When the race was announced for the first time, the Seibuen entertainment park has made fun of: “While there are few details on the content of the new attraction, the plan is that the flow rate and the scale exceed that of the experience of the original themed park, offering fans once again an experience other than anything have ever witnessed with the king of monsters.”
Judging by the video, the arrival of Mecagodzilla certainly offers. Fans can see Yamazaki’s unique design approach, offering a new version of the iconic Metal Kaiju. And while this version of Mecagodzilla is not confirmed for the Godzilla less one Sequel, it is clear that Yamazaki is having fun diving more deeply in the Kaiju tradition.
Yamazaki himself is clearly having fun to give life to the journey: “I am excited to return to the world of Godzilla from the passenger seat. What powerful enemies will they emerge? Where will he take us after? As a passionate enthusiast, I can’t wait for my first lap – and I am working day and night with our team to do this the most terrifying race in the world.”
Mecagodzilla has not appeared in a film toho since 2004, so fans have hungry a new version. The last time we saw the Kaiju robot was inside Godzilla vs. KongWhere Monsterverse of Legendary reinvented him using the remains of King Ghidorah and Twisted Tech of Apex Cybernetics.
With Yamazaki making fun of, he wants to explore more corners of the Godzilla universe, the question is not if Mecagodzilla could return to the big screen, but when. Until then, this themed race of the park is the perfect appetizer for Kaiju fans who crave more destruction.
We only hope that he will go outside Japan, so even the western public can take a ride on the madness of the monsters.
